The Secret of Four Savvys 4-Week Course

2019: Florida Mar 3-29 • Colorado Jun 30-Jul 26

The reason Parelli Students become so good with horses, and so confident, is because they learn FOUR ways to savvy a horse:
On Line – Liberty – FreeStyle – Finesse

The Foundation of the Parelli Program…

With two Savvy’s on the ground (with or without a line) and two Savvy’s in the saddle (with or without contact), this means you are prepared with all the right skills for any goal or situation.

Having all Four Savvy’s under your belt gives you the kind of foundation horses wish all horse lovers and riders would have designed to advance you in every Savvy!

THIS is the essence of the Parelli Program.

Testimonials…

Such a comprehensive course with so much information given demonstrated and practiced in all four savvys. So much to go home and practice with the reasons given behind why we do things a certain way.

Gail S

This course is very informative and will give you a deeper understanding of things you thought you already knew. Our instructor really helped you understand how important all the little things are and shows you how they all go together to make a good foundation.

Jena D

The course truly covered all four savvys and helped Misty and I in our journey. I am looking forward to coming back again. Instructor was excellent at explaining, demonstrating, coaching and coaxing.

Learn more about the beautiful Florida and Colorado Centers

Florida Center

Say hello to the warm, gentle, balmy breeze with a hint of sea and sawgrass rolling over the blackboard lined manicured fields of Ocala. The campus boasts all the amenities that Colorado has including an “Adventure Park” for horses. Take an extra day and ride on the beach. The white sand, fine as sugar, the blue ocean crashing against the beach, salt water scenting the air.

Our Florida campus is magical in a very unique and different way than our Colorado Campus. The landscape is more polished. Pastures manicured and mowed, hedges neatly shaped. The hills have a rolling effect rather than steep rocky crags. Huge robust Oak trees with Spanish moss dripping down off the branches, offering a sumptuous snack for our equine friends, replace the more pointed pine trees. Tall, lithe, white Egrets wade through the ponds, chirping their song to the wind.

Both campuses offer a magical and unique experience and are sure to be a life-changing adventure for you and your horse.

Colorado Center

Ever dream of spending all day with your horse under the brilliant blue skies of the Colorado Rockies. The fresh scent of pine trees wafting on the breeze, hawks floating on the current above, seemingly riding the wind. Just you and your horse, strolling along cool mountain trails, over green fields with the scent of warm grass ready to be cut, gently caressing your senses.

As far as the eye can see, rocky mountain tops covered in thick copses of Ponderosa Pines accented in spots by the deep hue of the Blue Spruce, all in contrast to the white flaky bark of the Aspen trees, their silver leaves shimmering in the wind. As far as the eye can see are white-capped tips of the majestic Rocky Mountains! Pagosa Peak the tallest, presiding majestically over the others like the North Star in the heavens.

The continental divide just a breath away.

Do I bring my own horse?

Bringing your own horse is always a good choice because the amount of dedicated time and focus will skyrocket your progress and relationship. Neither of you will leave the same as you came! If you are unable to bring your own horse, there are lease horse options available.

As Pat says, principle #7, “Horses teach riders and riders teach horses”.  Don’t let not being able to bring your own horse stop you, lease one of Pat’s dream horses and feel the difference.

To learn more please reach out to our course specialist at courses@parelli.com.

How many hours do we spend outside with horses vs. in the classroom?

The majority of your day is spent outside with your horse! There is some classroom time where necessary. Information is delivered in the format that is best suited for it to be retained.

For example, many times theory sessions need a student’s full focus so is better delivered in the classroom. Other information is best delivered through hands-on simulations or demonstrations. Rest assured our goal is to deliver the information to you in the best manner possible.

In the unlikely event that the weather does not permit outside horse-time there are plenty of learning opportunities to cover inside until it clears up again.
